‘Dexter,’ ‘Mad Men’ win Peabody awards
ATHENS, Ga., April 2 (UPI) — “Dexter,” “Mad Men,” “Planet Earth,” “30 Rock” and “The Colbert Report” were among the Peabody Award winners announced Wednesday by the University of Georgia.

The programs “Project Runway,” “Taxi to the Dark Side,” “Art: 21 — Art in the 21st Century,” “Speaking of Faith: The Ecstatic Faith of Rumi,” “Bob Woodruff Reporting: Wounds of War — The Long Road Home of Our Nation’s Veterans” also earned 2007 Peabody prizes.
Among the other winners are “Money for Nothing, The Buried and the Dead, Television Justice, Kinder Prison,” “Judgment Day: Intelligent Design on Trial,” “Whole Lotta Shakin,’” “White Horse,” “Just Words,” “CNN Presents: God’s Warriors,” “CBS News Sunday Morning: The Way Home,” “Craft in America: Memory, Landscape and Community,” “Fight for Open Records,” “To Die in Jerusalem” and “Design Squad.”
Awards are to be handed out a ceremony June 16 at New York City’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. Brian Williams is to preside over the event.
